Regional Gender Bias Suits Against Wal-Mart Filed in Florida and Tennessee
A group of plaintiffs lawyers filed suit against Wal-Mart in Tennessee and Florida federal district courts this week, further advancing their long-standing claims that the retailer discriminates against female workers throughout the country, in this case by denying them opportunities for promotions or pay increases because of their gender.
