Dorsey re-signs long-term lease

Dorsey & Whitney isn’t going anywhere. The firm announced it is re-signing a long-term deal at the building it first moved in to in 2001 on the Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.

The firm renewed a lease for 250,000 square feet at 50 South Sixth St. — often referred to as the “Dorsey building” by downtown denizens. The new agreement will keep Dorsey there through 2031, according to the Minneapolis/ St. Paul Business Journal.

The firm plans to give up space on the 23rd and 24th floors and take on additional space on the 13th floor. The lease was set to expire in 2016.
