Incumbents prevail in district court races

There were five contested judicial elections races yesterday for the district court. The results are below.

9th Judicial District:

John G. Melbye (Incumbent) 59.28 %

Diana Sweeney (Challenger) 40.50%

Write In .21%

1st Judicial District:

Diane M. Hanson (Incumbent) 63.29 %

Michael L. Larson (Challenger) 36.38 %

Write In .33%

1st Judicial District:

Kathryn D. Messerich (Incumbent) 64.92 %

Brian Gravely (Challenger) 34.77 percent

Write in .32 %

4th Judicial District: (Open Seat)

Steve Antolak 30.78 %

Elizabeth Cutter 68.45 %

Write In .77%

4th Judicial District: (Open Seat)

Marc Berris 40.90 %

Lois Conroy 58.31 %

Write In .78 %
